Barcelona star Ferran Torres opted against celebrating, after adding to his goal tally for the campaign against Valencia.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action.
Turning attentions back towards matters in the cup, Hansi Flick’s troops have made the trip to Mestalla, for a Copa del Rey quarter-final meeting with Valencia.
And, after the Blaugrana put seven past their hosts for the evening in La Liga just weeks ago, a similar scoreline looks as though it could be on the cards this evening, too.
Late in the first-half at Mestalla, the visitors lead by four goals to nil.
This comes owing to a hat-trick on the part of the aforementioned Ferran Torres, alongside a further strike from Fermín López.
And yet, whilst it has proven a night to remember for Ferran to date, the Spanish international has been sure to showcase his respect for his home city.
After spending the early years of his career developing on the books of Valencia, Ferran did not celebrate his first-half goals on Thursday.
Instead, the 24-year-old showed off a message of support for the city, as showcased below:
