Barcelona star ruled out of Real Madrid clash through injury | OneFootball

Barcelona star Eric García will play no part in this weekend’s La Liga showdown with Real Madrid.

As much has been confirmed by a host of sources on Friday.

Eric, for his part, has been sidelined since last weekend, after being forced into a last-minute departure from the pre-match warm-up for Barcelona’s meeting with Sevilla.

The Spaniard was subsequently left out of Hansi Flick’s squad to face Bayern Munich in midweek, albeit with hope having remained that he would recover in time to at least be named on the bench for El Clásico.

As alluded to above, though, this will not prove to be the case.

As per a report from Blaugrana insider Adrià Albets of Cadena SER, Eric was not present in group training alongside the rest of his teammates on Friday.

The former Manchester City man, as a result, ‘will miss the trip to the Santiago Bernabéu’.
