Barcelona tipped for €12 million January transfer offer | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona could be the recipients of an offer for a member of the club’s defensive ranks during the January transfer window.

This comes amid confirmation of Saudi outfit Al-Nassr preparing an assault on the signature of Andreas Christensen.

Stopper Christensen has for his part long been inching towards a departure from Catalunya’s capital.

As much comes with the Dane’s contract due to expire next summer, and no renewal proposal having yet been put before his entourage.

The aforementioned Al-Nassr, in turn, are one club to have been tipped to bring Christensen in as a free agent for next season.

As alluded to above, however, amid a frantic search for reinforcements at the back, the Saudi outfit could yet bring their pursuit forward.

As per a report from Fichajes:

‘Al-Nassr are considering submitting an offer close to €12 million in the winter transfer window to secure the Dane before he becomes a free agent in June.’

Christensen for the time being remains committed to the cause in Hansi Flick’s squad, but could reportedly be tempted by a move to the Middle East in the case of being definitively informed that a Barca contract extension is off the table.
