The Catalan club wants to rebuild its young star’s focus and avoid media distractions

Barcelona to closely monitor Lamine Yamal after international break shift
Barcelona have reportedly noticed clear change in Lamine Yamal since his return from international duty with Spain prompting the club to implement new management plan aimed at protecting the teenager’s development both on & off the pitch.
According to SPORT, Barca believe the 18 year old’s recent dip isn't only related to the injury that sidelined him for 5 match but also to the growing noise surrounding his personal and media life.
The club now intends to recover the best version of their young prodigy ensuring he rediscovers his sharpness and maturity after turbulent few weeks.
Barcelona’s hierarchy still have total faith in Yamal viewing him as central piece of the club’s long term project — a belief symbolised by the decision to give him the iconic No10 shirt.
However following his controversial pre Clasico remarks about Real Madrid, the club has decided to closely monitor his public image & communications.
Working alongside his agent Jorge Mendes, Barca aim to prevent future outbursts and limit what the player shares about his private life.
Club sources told SPORT that the intention is not to silence Yamal but to guide him:
"He’s still very young. We want him to focus on football and his recovery"
