Barcelona ‘to target’ €60m move for HSV loanee Luka Vušković

Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are closely tracking Hamburger SV loanee Luka Vušković, with a move potentially costing around €60 million.

The club are awaiting Andreas Christensen’s response to a two-year extension. If he opts against staying, they would seek a young centre-back, and Vušković, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, is among the favoured options.

Sky Germany also linked the Croatian defender with Barcelona earlier this month.

The report adds that HSV are unlikely to keep him beyond his loan. It also suggests such a fee would be difficult for Barcelona to accommodate, though agent Pini Zahavi is expected to make it possible.

Meanwhile, former Schalke and Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitić believes his compatriot should join Bayern Munich instead.
