Barcelona winger willing to wait for preferred Premier League move | OneFootball

FC Barcelona were looking to complete several sales before the end of the current financial year, on June 30th, but so far, they have been able to complete only one exit operation, i.e., the sale of the goalkeeper Inaki Pena to the Greek side Panathinaikos.

They are also close to completing the permanent departure of Ansu Fati to AS Monaco, and are quite likely to complete this operation before the end of this month, as the deadline for his purchase option also expires on June 30th.

Other than these, the rest of their exit operations are proceeding at quite a slow pace. However, some activity has started to take place around some of their players marked for a sale, especially the Swedish forward Roony Bardghji.

The winger has asked for a departure from Barcelona, and enjoys quite some demand in the Premier League. But for now, SPORT reports that he is particularly convinced by the project of Brighton and Hove Albion, and can wait for them to make a move, which is expected to happen once they move on one of their current forwards.

The Blaugrana club has allowed the Swede to make any decision regarding his future, and Hansi Flick is not averse to having him in his squad. However, the player himself understands that minutes would be hard to come by with Lamine Yamal occupying his position.

Meanwhile, several notable European sides have made advances for him, including the likes of Ajax, Porto, and Stuttgart. However, offers from the Premier League are more appealing, and despite interest also from Leeds United, the forward wants to wait for Brighton.

The seagulls are currently counting of a sale of their promising winger Yakuba Minteh, and once he leaves, they can make a move for Roony Bardghji. The presence of another Swedish midfielder, Yasin Ayari, would be another aspect pulling the Barcelona forward to Brighton.
