FC Bayern could make another attempt at Bradley Barcola in the summer. The Paris Saint-Germain attacker is still considered highly interesting internally – and is said to be not completely satisfied with his current role at the Champions League finalists. Nevertheless, a transfer remains complicated
It has long been known that FC Bayern were already looking closely at Bradley Barcola in the summer of 2025, when the Munich club were keen to sign the French international, but received a clear rejection from Paris Saint-Germain
PSG blocked a transfer, whereupon Bayern finally secured Luis Díaz
Now, the transfer could pick up speed again, apparently due to Barcola’s playing time in Paris. The 23-year-old is said to be increasingly dissatisfied with his current reserve role and is at least open to a possible departure in the summer
„Barcola would definitely be an upgrade for Jackson. A very interesting player who Bayern were already interested in last year. He’s not 100 per cent happy with his situation at PSG. The players‘ side would definitely listen to everything,“ explained BILD reporter Julian Agardi in the Bayern Insider podcast
Sky also reports that Barcola is once again being discussed internally at Säbener Straße , with sporting director Max Eberl having recently obtained new information about the Frenchman’s situation

In sporting terms, Barcola would fit perfectly into Munich’s profile. The French attacking player is considered explosive, strong on the dribble and flexible – qualities that are particularly in demand in Vincent Kompany’s system
After the Champions League exit against PSG, it also became clear internally that FC Bayern would like to add width in attack
However, a transfer currently seems to be failing mainly due to the financial framework conditions. As reported by BILD, PSG are demanding a transfer fee of around 100 million euros for the attacker, while his current market value is estimated at 70 million euros
In addition, the Frenchman’s salary would also put a massive strain on Bayern’s financial pain threshold, which is why Sky also currently rates a transfer as not really feasible for the record champions
Nevertheless, the renewed discussion surrounding Barcola shows how intensively Bayern are continuing to look at top-class attacking players. Alongside Anthony Gordon, the PSG star is apparently one of the desired profiles for the future
However, it remains to be seen whether this will actually lead to concrete negotiations. As things stand, a move to Munich seems rather unlikely – but a new attempt at FC Bayern is clearly not out of the question.
