Barría snatches stoppage time winner as Botafogo rise to ninth

Botafogo beat Santos 2-1 at Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos as substitute Kadir Barría struck in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time, lifting the hosts from 12th to ninth in the Brasileirão.
In the 41st minute, a VAR-awarded goal put Fogão ahead after an assist from Kauan Toledo.
Álvaro Barreal levelled with a low strike from outside the box following a corner (57.). Léo Linck kept Peixe at bay with eight saves as the game opened up.
Barría came on (77.) and finished a fast break in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time for the decisive moment. Five minutes of added time had been signalled shortly before the winner.
Peixe registered 22 attempts, with nine on target. Fogão produced 17 efforts, seven on target.
