Bundesliga star Mohamed Amoura may be involved in a pricey transactions this summer. Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Bayer Leverkusen are interested in acquiring the VfL Wolfsburg striker. Amoura currently represents Germany’s green company team on loan from Union Saint-Gilloise.

Many sources report that Wolfsburg have already pulled a €14.5 purchase option that will enable Amoura to join the German club permanently in the summer. Amoura amassed an incredible six scorer points (one goal and five assists) in his initial four Bundesliga appearances and has now scored nine league goals and registered nine assists in 21 league appearances.

Even if the German Wolves are rumored to be targeting other strikers over the summer, Leverkusen’s interest may compel VfL managing director Peter Christiansen to “flip” Amoura for a handsome profit.

Amoura has pumped his estimated market value up to a career high of €22m since arriving in Lower Saxony. The WAZ report suggests that the 2023/24 Bundesliga champions may be prepared to pay upwards of €50m for him.
