Jonathan Clauss is the subject of links to Bayer Leverkusen. Amid those reports, which emerged on Wednesday, the France international was absent on Thursday. A small niggle has been cited as the official reason for his absence.
Clauss played in the Ligue 1 opener, against Toulouse FC, but is now a doubt to face AJ Auxerre. His future at the club is under scrutiny amid links to Bayer Leverkusen, and in Thursday’s training session, attended by Get French Football News, he was absent entirely. Franck Haise will provide an update on the right-back later in the day.
Pablo Rosario, who has been away from the squad in recent times, ahead of an expected move, has returned to first-team training. That is not to say that he will not depart. Meanwhile, Kevin Carlos, who was signed from Basel earlier this week, was involved in first-team training and could be in line to make his debut this weekend.
