Bayer Leverkusen attacker Martin Terrier will miss the rest of the season after a thigh injury sustained in the 3-3 draw with 1. FC Heidenheim before the international break.

According to BuLi News, head coach Kasper Hjulmand confirmed the news on Friday and said the team are hopeful Jarell Quansah could be available for next week’s trip to Borussia Dortmund.

Quansah, a centre-back, suffered his own thigh problem in the same match and will sit out the upcoming game against VfL Wolfsburg, with a potential return at Dortmund.

In better news for Die Werkself, Loïc Badé and Eliesse Ben Seghir have recovered from their respective injuries.

Hjulmand’s side face Wolfsburg next, with Dortmund to follow next week, while they monitor Quansah’s fitness.
