Gordon is therefore on Liverpool’s shortlist, even if it is not yet clear whether the Reds will ultimately put pressure on him or prefer a different solution. Bayern’s plan from the outset was to make a lucrative offer directly to the player in order to cushion interest from other clubs

However, the longer it takes for the record champions to enter into negotiations with Newcastle United, the greater the chances are for other clubs.
