Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich have enquired about the future of Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
The Bundesliga champions are said to have gathered information about Jackson’s current status at Chelsea, as well as his price and the conditions of a potential deal.
Newcastle also remain interested in the Senegal international after failing to sign Hugo Ekitiké and Benjamin Seško this summer.
What Bayern’s plan for this is, is yet to be seen. Whether that be they see Jackson as the successor to Harry Kane, or as an alternative to Nick Woltemade. Regardless, the signing of the 24-year-old will likely be costly.
This summer has been a long one for Bayern. They have failed to sign two of their top targets in Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams, before finally landing on Luis Diaz for the left-wing position. When it comes to trying to sign Woltemade, Stuttgart are also continuing to make it very difficult for the Rekordmeister.
