In the fight to win Alphonso Davies’ signature, all cards are now on the table. Both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have put their offers forward for the Canadian, and the decision now lies with the player.

Bayern Munich are unwilling to go down without a fight, and as per Marca, the club are continuing to raise their contract offer for the 24-year-old to the absolute limit.

Real Madrid meanwhile, can only play the waiting game, unable to do anything more to persuade the Canadian wing-back that the Spanish capital is the ideal destination for him.

Recent reports out of Munich indicated that talks were closer to achieving a Bayern Munich renewal, but now negotiations seem to be at an unknown stage where anything is possible.

Real Madrid’s current offer is said to be one final unchangeable offer, so the Real Madrid camp can only sit and wait for the phone call from the player’s agent which will indicate his final decision.

Despite negotiations being as close as ever to reaching their conclusion, we still have no idea where Alphonso Davies will end up playing come next season.
