Bayern Munich are stepping up plans for life after Harry Kane, turning to Victor Osimhen. FootMercato reports they are weighing up a move for the Galatasaray striker amid uncertainty over Kane’s contract, with the England captain now 32.

Vincent Kompany admires Osimhen and has tracked him since Charleroi. Despite Kane’s 45 goals in 37 games and a deal to 2027, Bayern are assessing long-term options and see the Nigerian as a long-term successor.

Any deal would be complicated. Galatasaray made his loan permanent for €75 million last summer and tied him down until June 2029. The Istanbul club have no desire to sell, though Bayern’s pull could shift the discussion.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly closed the door due to a projected €150 million fee and €20 million salary. Luis Enrique is also unconvinced by the fit. Saudi Pro League interest persists, but the player prioritises staying in Europe.

With traditional strikers scarce, Osimhen’s output over seven years keeps him in demand. Bayern are giving the move serious thought to protect domestic and European ambitions. Whether Galatasaray can resist a formal approach will shape the next window.
