Sport Bild reports that Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has agreed to personal terms with Al-Nassr FC. The Saudi outfit has been chasing the Frenchman for several days now. According to the German tabloid, the longtime Bundesliga professional could earn upwards of €25m to €30m per year playing on the Arabian peninsula.
It would appear as if little stands in the way of Coman’s departure from the German giants after ten seasons, apart from the fact that Bayern do not wish to let him go. FCB board-member-for-sport Max Eberl insisted that Coman remained in the club’s plans earlier this summer. The German giants, given the current state of the squad, can also ill-afford to lose another winger.
Coman publicly professed his loyalty to his longtime employer during this summer’s Club World Cup, but the chance to earn so much money at this stage of his career will naturally shift his personal calculus. Sport Bild notes that negotiations between Bayern and Al-Nassr are underway. The Saudi’s have tendered an initial €30m offer.
