Real Madrid’s summer transfer plans still seem to be a work in progress, despite the club already having brought in as many as four signings.
For a while now, one Galactico target they have been linked with is Bayern Munich superstar Michael Olise.
Los Blancos admire Olise strongly, but Bayern have no intention of doing a favour to the Spanish giants.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern do not want to sell the French attacker and are already looking to offer him a new contract.
That means any possible Real Madrid move will depend heavily on what happens between Olise and the German club.

Olise is exactly the type of forward Real Madrid would like: technical, creative, left-footed, versatile and capable of deciding matches from the right side or central areas.
The key now is Olise himself. If he is happy at Bayern and open to renewing, the operation becomes almost impossible in the short term.
Bayern have no reason to sell a player they consider central to their project. They know his value is rising, and a new contract would only strengthen their control.
That leaves Los Blancos in a familiar position. The club can admire the player, monitor the situation and maintain contacts, but they cannot force a deal unless the player creates the conditions.
This is where Florentino Perez will have to be patient. Real Madrid rarely enter battles they cannot control, especially when the selling club is another European giant.
The Olise situation also connects to Vinicius Jr.’s future. It has been revealed that Florentino considers renewing the Brazilian a bigger priority than signing Olise.

That makes sense. Olise would be an exciting addition, but Vinicius is already Real Madrid’s star, a proven match-winner and one of the pillars of the current project.
If Bayern close the door and push for a renewal, the Merengues should not lose focus. The first task is to secure what they already have.
Still, Olise is a name worth keeping alive for the future. His profile fits Real Madrid’s search for attacking quality, and if his situation changes, the club will be alert.
This does not look like a deal that will happen this summer. It remains to be seen how Olise’s future plays out.
