Porto beat Alverca 1-0 on Saturday at the Dragão to stay top of Liga Portugal, with Jan Bednarek's first half header settling it.
In the 40th minute, Bednarek glanced in from close range, meeting Gabri Veiga's corner for the decisive breakthrough.
Diogo Costa was busy at the other end, saving from Chiquinho early on and later denying Figueiredo and Nabil Touaizi as the visitors pressed after the restart.
After half time, Alan Varela and Martim Fernandes were introduced, and Borja Sainz soon forced Matheus Mendes into a tidy save with a central header. Deniz Gül also tested the goalkeeper from range as Porto looked for a second.
Porto registered 12 attempts with three on target and edged possession at 56.4%. Alverca produced 10 attempts and hit the target five times.
