Benfica on alert as Rui Costa faces Olympiakos competition for Zuriko Davitashvili | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica, led by Rui Costa, face major competition for Zuriko Davitashvili after Olympiakos entered the race with a formal bid to Saint-Étienne.

The Greek club, owned by Evangelos Marinakis, has offered around 10.5 million euros for a January deal, plus about three million in add-ons. The package is said not to match the French club’s demands.

Benfica are seeking to strengthen their wide options in January and are understood to have sounded out Davitashvili. The Portuguese club are also said to have submitted a bid.

This season for Saint-Étienne, the Georgian international has made 17 appearances, 16 in Ligue 2 and one in the French Cup, across 1,252 minutes. He has scored nine goals and recorded one assist.

The left winger is valued at eight million euros.
