Benfica ‘to restore’ Lukebakio on right under Mourinho | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Dodi Lukebakio is set to reclaim a starting role on Benfica’s right, a call made by Mourinho.

The 28-year-old Belgium international, Benfica’s No 11, is said to have met all conditions to rejoin the line-up, four months after ankle surgery.

Mourinho is understood to feel Gianluca Prestianni has not been at his best physically or mentally in recent weeks, following the racism allegations.

Even so, Lukebakio may not start against Arouca, with the Belgian, along with Nicolás Otamendi, Leandro Barreiro and Georgiy Sudakov, considered doubts for the trip.

Valued at 20 million euros, he has made 17 appearances for Benfica this season, 10 in Liga Portugal Betclic, five in the Champions League, one in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga. Across 910 minutes, he has one goal and three assists.
