Benfica ‘to target’ futsal winger Fabinho for 2026/27, €200,000 gap on fee | OneFootball

Benfica have placed Palma Futsal winger Fabinho, 24, among their priorities for 2026/27 after his standout form.

Negotiations are not expected to be straightforward. Palma are seeking €400,000 and Benfica have offered about €200,000, Record reports. Despite the gap, the club remain keen.

Fabinho was named the best player in last season’s futsal Champions League. He scored 40 goals in 45 matches and struck four times in the final, a 9-4 win over Kairat. This season he has 18 in 34.

The possible arrival comes as Benfica prepare for the departures of Higor, Diego Nunes and Jacaré. The board plan to add major reinforcements as they aim to challenge for the Champions League.

Benfica are also monitoring goalkeeper Nicolas Souza of Jaraguá Futsal. The Brazil international is viewed as a solid option to increase competition in goal.
