Wolfsburg forward Dzenan Pejcinovic is attracting transfer interest after the club’s relegation, with Benfica and Bundesliga clubs linked.
Kicker reports that Benfica are very keen on the 21-year-old, that he would prefer to stay in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg monitoring him, and that Wolfsburg want to keep him for a push to return to the top flight next season, although an exceptional offer above €20 million could prompt a sale.

Wolfsburg have already confirmed several departures following relegation, and further exits are expected.
The Germany U21 international scored 12 goals in 34 games in the 2025/26 season.
Pejcinovic could be among those to move if interest develops.
