Benjamin Sesko’s stance on a Manchester United exit has emerged amidst rumours of a potential move to Bayern Munich.

Bayern speculation

Sesko enjoyed a positive maiden season in England following his move from RB Leipzig last summer.

His early days under Ruben Amorim were slow-burn, but the glimpses of a top-class striker were never far away. It took Michael Carrick’s arrival, however, for him to truly ignite.

No Premier League player netted more goals than Sesko in the latter half of the 2025/26 Premier League season. He finished the campaign with 11 goals in 30 top-flight appearances.

There is an argument to be made that he could have had more goals to his name were it not for the injuries he picked up. He continues to recover from a problem picked up in that memorable victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford, though he is expected to be ready in time for the new season’s kick-off.

A recent report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Bayern have Sesko on their list as a striker target. Bayern are starting to map out life after Kane, and Sesko’s unique qualities and vast potential have made him a player of strong interest.

However, it’s understood that the Slovenian has no desire to depart Old Trafford.

Sesko’s stance

According to Sam Cohen, Sesko is settled at United and is not looking to make a change this summer.

It’s understood that an approach from Bayern for Sesko has not yet been forthcoming.

Cohen wrote on X, “Bayern Munich are not currently in negotiations to sign Benjamin Šeško.”

“The Bundesliga champions were interested last summer, but the striker opted for Manchester United and remains settled at the club.”

United are next in action on Saturday when they face Paris Saint-Germain.
