The left-back had referred to recent trophies and the side’s consistency under Dorival Júnior after the defeat by Coritiba at Neo Química Arena on Wednesday. In the mixed zone he said the crowd could criticise because they pay to watch, but added that supporters should not overlook what had been done over the past eight months, including two titles.

Midfielder Rodrigo Garro and forward Memphis Depay accepted that their individual form had dipped in recent matches. Other players also joined the discussion in a room at the training centre.

For personal reasons, Dorival Júnior did not take part in the talks. President Osmar Stabile and executive Marcelo Paz listened to all the demands made by the supporters.
