FLW's Blues fan pundit feels that signing a right-winger is one of the few things left to do for Chris Davies this summer

Once again, it's been a summer transfer window to remember for Birmingham City, as Chris Davies' side don't look like they're messing about in their quest for Premier League football.
There's been a whole host of key names through the door which have bolstered the squad depth at St Andrew's, but there's still arguably some work to do ahead of September 1st's deadline.
Lee Buchanan, who played just three times last season in League One, remains the only backup left-back at the club, but if Alex Cochrane remains as reliable as he was last term, it isn't too much of a pressing issue to get another through the door.
However, a new right-winger should still be on the shopping list of the third-tier champions, after Kieran Dowell returned to Rangers at the conclusion of his loan spell.
Jason Moore, FLW's Blues fan pundit, has given two ideal options, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and David Brooks, and who Birmingham should sign, in his opinion, depends on how Davies wants his wide men to play in the upcoming campaign.
With Demarai Gray more suited coming off the left, Moore feels that Birmingham should still be in the market for a new right-winger next season.
"If you look at the Blues squad, we're pretty much stacked bar the left-back position, but that's okay because we've got Cochrane," he said.
"We also lack in the right-wing position, too, and depending on how Davies wants to set up this season will decide which winger we get. Two come to mind, and it looks like we're desperate for one or the other.
"If he wants a standard winger, pacy, running at a man and taking him on, then I want Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Palace. I think he'd make an excellent addition."
Rak-Sakyi has just come off the back of a successful loan spell at Sheffield United. Despite not starting every game, the 22-year-old still notched up seven goals and two assists.
"If not, and we play like we did last season with wingers who come inside as more of a ten, allowing the right-backs to be more right-wingers in attack, then I'd want us to go for David Brooks," Moore continued.
"I think he'd be absolutely perfect for the system, and he'd tear the Championship up."
Brooks played a full season in the Premier League last campaign, but only nine of his 29 league appearances were from the off. He was loaned to Southampton two seasons ago for the second half of the campaign and scored twice to add to six assists en route to a play-off final win over Leeds United.
Moore feels that a full season playing week in, week out for Birmingham would be key not just for Brooks, but for the Blues' promotion hopes.
"I just think he needs to go somewhere where he's playing regularly, especially with everything that's happened in his life the past few years," Moore said.
"Leaving Bournemouth, dropping down a level and just playing football would be great for him, and he'd definitely be loved by the Blues fans. He'd work perfectly in the way we set up.
"So yeah, Brooks or Rak-Sakyi for me."
Brooks would join the long list of Birmingham transfers no one would have expected them to do this summer, as the Welshman is yet another Premier League-standard player. But it's these types of players who Tom Wagner and co are aiming for.
His brief stint at Southampton in 2023/24 showed that, despite the various setbacks in his career, the Championship is still a division he excels in. His per 90-minute stats from that short-term loan spell had him creating 2.4 chances a game and winning 1.9 fouls, per Fotmob.
Bringing in Brooks would once again strengthen Birmingham's promotion credentials as they aim to go back-to-back into the Premier League, and if they can secure his signature, not much more will stop them from achieving their goals.
