A commanding physical presence and a towering figure at the heart of the Nerazzurri defence, one who has become a leader both on the pitch and in the dressing room: Yann-Aurel Bisseck has developed steadily into an integral part of the club's defensive unit, contributing to some of the most successful chapters of Inter's recent history, and is ready to write many more after signing a new contract that will keep him at the Club until 2031.

Bisseck's journey in Nerazzurri colours began in the summer of 2023, when he arrived in Milano from Danish side Aarhus. The 2000-born defender settled into his new surroundings immediately, quickly earning an important role thanks to his outstanding physical attributes, combined with impressive technical quality and personality. He finished his debut season by lifting the Second Star Scudetto, making 21 appearances in all competitions and scoring twice. Among those goals was a crucial winner away to Bologna at the Stadio Dall'Ara, a result that proved decisive during the closing stages of the title-winning campaign.

His development continued throughout his second season at Inter, as he established himself as one of the team's most reliable defenders and a regular fixture in the back line. Bisseck ended the 2024/25 campaign with 46 appearances in all competitions, including 13 in the Champions League, confirming his status as a world-class defender. He reinforced that reputation again in 2025/26, playing a key role in Inter's Double-winning season with 23 Serie A appearances and five in the Coppa Italia. He also reached the milestone of 100 appearances for the Club that season, during the title-clinching victory over Parma that secured the Club’s 21 Scudetto. A dominant defender, formidable in the air and a threat in the opposition box – as shown by the three league goals he scored last season – Yann has become a true reference point for Inter, both on and off the pitch.
