All the latest transfer news surrounding Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn Rovers are at risk of suffering relegation from the Championship in 2026 unless they can turn their form around.
Valerien Ismael’s side are sitting just four points above the relegation zone this January, and will need to find improvements in order to avoid the drop into League One.
The Lancashire outfit have not competed in the third tier since 2018, and they will be keen to ensure it stays that way.
The January transfer window provides the club with an opportunity to strengthen the first team squad in a bid to fend off the likes of Norwich City and Oxford United, who currently occupy two of the bottom three places.
Here we look at all the latest transfer news involving Blackburn, with the market set to shut on 2 February…

Blackburn are in the mix alongside Preston North End and Hull City for the signing of Ismael Boura this month.
According to Football Insider, the full-back is attracting interest from the trio of Championship clubs following his performances in Ligue 2.
The left-back has so far contributed one goal and two assists from 17 appearances in the French second division this season, with the side competing for promotion to the top flight.
The Comoros international’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2027, giving him just 18 months left on his deal.

Blackburn are also set to compete with Championship rivals for the signing of Keillor Davis-Dunn, with Preston and Middlesbrough eyeing the player.
It has been reported by Football Insider that the Lancashire outfit sent scouts to watch the striker at Anfield for the Tykes’ FA Cup clash against Liverpool on Monday night, which ended 4-1.
It was exclusively revealed by FLW earlier this month that Barnsley are willing to cash in on the 28-year-old, with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2027.
Davis-Dunn has scored 11 goals from 21 appearances in League One so far this season.

Igor Tyjon’s future at Ewood Park has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months.
It has been reported by The Sun that Manchester United have now entered the race to sign the 17-year-old.
Tyjon has yet to sign a professional contract, and his current deal is set to expire, meaning he could depart the Championship side for a nominal fee.
Tyjon has made two league appearances for Rovers, but has not featured in Ismael’s team so far this season.

Blackburn could have quite a busy couple of weeks in the transfer market ahead, as they look to bolster Ismael’s side.
According to Football Insider, the Lancashire outfit have submitted a bid to sign Triston Rowe from Aston Villa.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan with Ligue 2 side FC Annecy for the campaign, but Rovers are seeking a permanent deal this month.
However, they face competition
