Riccardo Orsolini is enjoying the form of his life this season, inspiring Bologna to another remarkable campaign that could see them secure European qualification. However, the Rossoblù are aware they may have to part ways with the forward next summer.

With 11 goals and four assists in 24 Serie A appearances, the 28-year-old is delivering with unprecedented consistency and seems ready to take the next step in his career.

His trademark gesture of knocking on the camera after scoring—widely seen as a response to Luciano Spalletti’s decision to exclude him from Italy’s recent squad—also hints at a desire to raise his profile during the prime of his career.

Bologna and Orsolini have pact as Napoli and Milan eye summer transfer

According to Calciomercato.com, Orsolini has great respect for the club that believed in him and gave him the platform to thrive.

For that reason, he is reportedly considering only two options: leaving this summer to ensure Bologna receives a significant fee, or renewing his current contract, which runs until 2027, to avoid the risk of departing as a free agent in the future.

Napoli are said to be preparing a move for the Italian winger, while Milan are also reportedly very keen, having already attempted to secure his signature during the January transfer window.

Should either club step up their pursuit this summer, Bologna could be open to negotiating his departure.
