Bologna ready to negotiate with AZ Alkmaar again, Italians want to sort transfer quickly | OneFootball

As per VoetbalPrimeur, Bologna want to work on the arrival of Ruben van Bommel (20) from AZ Alkmaar. The Italian club are considering contacting AZ in the short term, and it’s not the first time that the Emilia-Romagna team have targeted an Alkmaarder.

Bologna have been keeping an eye on Van Bommel for some time, transfer journalist Nicolò Schira claims. Italian interest has now increased to such an extent that the Serie A side is ready to take action. “Bologna is ready to start the talks with AZ about Van Bommel.”

Schira did not share details about the upcoming negotiations. It is also not known what Bologna would possibly want to pay for the left winger who is still contracted at Alkmaar until the summer of 2027. AZ’s asking price was also not mentioned. Transfermarkt.com estimates Van Bommel’s market value at around eight million euros.
