Inter could face competition from Borussia Dortmund in their plans for Aleksandar Stankovic, with the German club weighing up a winter move for the midfielder.
According to Bild, via FCInterNews, Dortmund are evaluating the possibility of making a signing after seeing several departures in recent weeks.
Following the exits of Pascal Groß and Cole Campbell, the Bundesliga side are exploring options to reinforce their squad, and Stankovic has emerged as a potential target.
The 2005-born midfielder joined Club Brugge from Inter last summer in a deal worth €9.5 million.
Since then, his market value has risen significantly thanks to a series of strong performances in Belgium, attracting attention beyond Germany.

Dortmund are not alone.
Bayer Leverkusen and other clubs are also reportedly monitoring Stankovic’s situation, increasing competition around one of the most highly rated young midfielders to emerge from Inter’s academy in recent years.
The timing is key.
Inter are understood to be planning a return move in the summer by activating a buy-back clause included in the deal with Club Brugge.
A January approach from Dortmund could complicate those plans and force the Nerazzurri to reassess their strategy.
For now, Dortmund are still considering whether to act immediately, but Inter are watching closely as interest in Stankovic continues to grow.
