Borussia Dortmund ‘to invest’ 30 to 40 million euros in Diego Moreira | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund are monitoring Strasbourg winger Diego Moreira after an impressive season, and could try to sign him this summer.

Florian Plettenberg reports that Dortmund are prepared to invest between 30 and 40 million euros for the 21-year-old. Any deal could be complicated, as he has a long-term contract at Strasbourg and Chelsea retain a buy-back option.

Moreira left Benfica on a free transfer in 2023, spent time on loan at Lyon, and has since settled in France. He is currently injured, but expects to return to action soon.

The luso-Belgian has been a key figure for the French club, contributing goals and assists that have drawn interest from across Europe.

This season he has played 33 games for Strasbourg, 23 in Ligue 1, seven in the Europa Conference League and three in the Coupe de France. Across 2,344 minutes he has recorded four goals and seven assists, and he is valued at 25 million euros.
