Jarrod Bowen made history in West Ham United’s 3-1 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League at London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Bowen set up the Hammers’ first goal, sending a inch-perfect cross into the box for Crysencio Summerville, who rose highest to power the ball into the roof of the net.
The England international doubled West Ham’s lead, beating the outstretched Robin Roefs from the penalty spot.
Bowen now has the outright most league goal involvements (103) for West Ham overtaking Michael Antonio, who posted 101 for the East London outfit.
The 29-year-old has also scored and assisted in 11 different league games, the most of any player in the club’s history.
Across all competitions, Bowen has registered 80 goals and 53 assists in 262 appearances for West Ham.
Mateus Fernandes extended the hosts’ advantage with a superb strike, curling the ball into the top-left corner, netting his third league goal.
Brian Brobbey scored the consolation goal for Sunderland, heading Nordi Mukiele’s cross into the bottom-left corner.
Despite the result, West Ham sit 18th, two points adrift of safety. Nuno Espirito Santos’ side face Chelsea in their next league game next Saturday.
Meanwhile, with the defeat, Sunderland missed the chance to move level on points with fifth -placed Manchester United. They host Burnley in their next league outing.
