The summer transfer window officially opens in less and less time, and Roma, ninety minutes before the return to the Champions League, are looking to give Gian Piero Gasperini several reinforcements to make the team even more competitive.
Among the most sought-after profiles for the attacking line is Julian Brandt.
The Borussia Dortmund number 10 will not renew his contract with the German club, and several top European clubs have their eyes on the player.
In addition to the Giallorossi, one of the clubs interested was Simeone’s Atlético Madrid.
However, as reported by Marca, the Colchoneros are intent on pursuing Bernardo Silva, who will be freed from Manchester City in a few weeks, and have abandoned the Brandt option.
The 1996-born player remains a desirable prospect in Roma’s orbit, and the Giallorossi could make an offer to the German player once the season is over and his fate is known. The Roman club’s eventual Champions League qualification will be crucial in this regard.
