Brazil squad hold final training as Ancelotti plans changes to face Tunisia

The Brazilian National Team held its final training session before the friendly match against Tunisia this Monday. Coach Carlo Ancelotti made the last adjustments to the team at the match venue, Decathlon Stadium, in Lille (FRA). The ball gets rolling this Tuesday at 4:30 PM (Brasília time).

How was the training session?

The players warmed up with the ball and were soon called to the center of the field by the coaching staff to receive instructions. After that, they began mobility and speed drills. During the activity, midfielder Bruno Guimarães had a quick conversation with Ancelotti.

The athletes played the famous “rondo” and were split into two groups. The coaching staff handed out bibs to Rodrygo, Vini Jr., Vitor Roque, Wesley, Bruno Guimarães, Luiz Henrique, Matheus Cunha, Caio Henrique, and Andrey Santos.

Probable lineup for Brazil

Coach Ancelotti will not have the chance to repeat the team that beat Senegal 2-0 last Saturday and will have to make at least one change. Defender Gabriel Magalhães was cut after feeling a problem in his right thigh. Therefore, Ancelotti will have to make a change in defense. In a press conference held in the morning, Ancelotti announced that Wesley will start at right-back.

“Unfortunately, we had the injury to Gabriel Magalhães, so we will replace him with Wesley on the right side. We want to play a good game and keep the same dynamics as against Senegal, which was beautiful in attitude, intensity, and quality,” he revealed.

The probable lineup for Brazil is: Ederson; Wesley, Éder Militão, Marquinhos, and Alex Sandro (Luciano Juba); Casemiro and Bruno Guimarães; Vini Jr., Rodrygo, Estevão, and Vitor Roque (Matheus Cunha).
