Celtic returned to winning ways against Hearts after losing their last league game against the Rangers. Now, Premiership triumph only seems like a matter of time for the Hoops. And a lot of focus is already starting to shift towards the summer transfer window, and how Brendan Rodgers' squad can be improved further, even though they might finish this campaign with a treble.

Celtic are already guaranteed to sign Kieran Tierney. The Arsenal left-back has agreed a pre-contract agreement with his boyhood club.

On the other hand, it looks like Tierney's arrival will lead to the departure of Greg Taylor. The Scottish international has not played much in recent weeks, with his contract set to run out in the summer. And all signs seem to point towards an exit at the end of the campaign.

Rodgers appears to believe that as well. As reported by the Daily Record, the Celtic manager said about Taylor's situation:

"We know we’ll need to have someone else if Greg moves on. My idea was always to keep Greg and it still is. I’ve been in this position so many times and I can read situations.“It’s probably more likely now that Greg will move on than stay, which is a big shame for me because I love him as a person. And I love his game because it’s suited to how we work.“It’s not financial but I respect his position because he wants to feel he’ll play every week.“Whoever is in next year with Kieran will still play a lot of games but my feeling is that Greg may well move on."

Taylor had been a regular starter for Celtic over the past several seasons. But with Tierney set to arrive, there is no doubt who will be starting for the Hoops at left-back from the upcoming campaign.

Taylor has not always gotten the credit that he deserves. But nobody can deny the fact that he has played his part in so many titles Celtic have won in recent years. If he does indeed decide to leave at the end of the campaign then we can only wish him the best of luck.

It will also be interesting to see if Celtic try to sign Jeffrey Schlupp on a permanent basis. Despite his performance against the Rangers, for the most part, he has done well since joining the Hoops on loan.
