Brighton have placed 22nd in the 2026 Deloitte Money League, underlining the Premier League's financial power.
According to TheArgus.co.uk, the standings point to a consistent level of performance on and off the field under Tony Bloom and Paul Barber, with Deloitte recording revenue of 238.7m euros (£207.67m) for the Seagulls.
Albion ranked ahead of Roma, Marseille and Flamengo, as well as domestic rivals Everton and Crystal Palace.
They were 21st last season and 23rd in each of the two years before that, while nine Premier League clubs remain above them.
Real Madrid and Barcelona top the table, with Liverpool the highest-earning English club for the first time. Manchester United are eighth, in part because broadcast income fell from 258m euros (£224.7m) to 206m euros (£179.4m) due to their absence from the 2024-25 Champions League.
It is the first time no English side features in the top four, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris St Germain boosted by deep runs in the expanded Champions League and the expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the summer.
Deloitte said the Club World Cup delivered a 17 per cent average uplift in broadcast revenue for the 10 Money League clubs involved. Premier League sides may expect to fare better in the 2027 list, which will first reflect the new broadcast deal running to 2029.
