Brighton make the trip to Arsenal on Wednesday night in a fascinating Carabao Cup tie.
The Seagulls have reached this stage in record-breaking fashion, securing consecutive 6-0 wins at Oxford United and Barnsley in the previous two rounds. However, their fourth-round trip will be a formidable test. Arsenal lead the Premier League table and have conceded just three goals all season.
Fabian Hurzeler has confirmed that Joel Veltman, Brajan Gruda and Kaoru Mitoma all remain unavailable. The trio missed the defeat at Manchester United in the Premier League at the weekend and are yet to recover.
Those absentees leave Brighton depleted, with Solly March and Adam Webster still missing due to knee injuries and Jack Hinsheldwood out with a foot problem.
Diego Gomez, who has started just four times in the Premier League, is likely to come in. The midfielder has been in scintillating form in this competition, scoring five times in two appearances. Gomez hit four goals in the third-round win at Barnsley.
Brighton possible starting lineup: Steele; Wieffer, Dunk, Boscagli, De Cuyper; Baleba, Ayari; Gomez, Rutter, Minteh; Welbeck.
Arsneal host Brighton in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesdy 29th October 2025. Kick-off at the Emirates is 19:45 BST.
The game will be televised live on Sky Sports+ in the UK. Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Sky Go app.
