Bukayo Saka launches new boots | OneFootball

Bukayo Saka has unveiled his latest signature boot with New Balance, with the launch of the Furon v8 “7egacy” Edition.

The boot forms part of a broader campaign that reflects Saka’s identity on and off the pitch, built around themes of faith, leadership and focus. Hand drawn symbols feature across the design, including a lion to represent leadership and a Bible and dove to reflect his faith, with his number seven displayed on the heel and his name etched onto the lace tips.

Saka said: “I wanted to create a sneaker that shares my story with the fans who inspire me every day. From faith to football, everything that matters to me is built into this design.”

The launch is also tied to a community project centred on grassroots football in London, with young players invited to document their own experiences through disposable cameras as part of a campaign titled “Through Their Eyes”. The initiative is designed to reflect Saka’s long standing connection to youth football in the capital and his role as a visible figure for the next generation.

The release strengthens Saka’s position as one of New Balance’s flagship football athletes since he signed a multi year boot and lifestyle deal with the brand in 2021.

Since then, he has become the face of the Furon line, receiving a series of exclusive colourways and limited editions that have placed him at the centre of the company’s performance and community based marketing strategy.
