According to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Burnely are interested in SM Caen forward Andréas Hountondji (21), who is valued at around €4m by his club.
Following relegation from the Premier League, Burnley, who are yet to name a replacement for Vincent Kompany, are preparing for life back in the EFL Championship. The aim will be to return to the top flight. Whilst nominating a new manager remains a big priority for the Clarets, they are also looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the start of the new season.
Benin international Hountondji, valued at €4m by Caen, had a stellar campaign in Ligue 2 last season. On loan at promotion-chasing Rodez, he netted 16 goals and registered seven assists in 39 appearances in all competitions. He has caught the eye of Burnley, however, the English side may face competition. Two unnamed German clubs have also declared an interest in the forward.
