Caicedo And Cucurella Get 8 | Chelsea Players Rated In Last-Gasp Win Vs Liverpool

Chelsea entertained Liverpool at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 14th minute when Moises Caicedo found the back of the net with a great strike. The West London club controlled the game well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Cody Gakpo equalised for the Merseyside club in the 63rd minute. However, Estevao ended up scoring a dramatic winner in injury time as Enzo Maresca’s men earned a last-gasp 2-1 win in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the clash against the Reds.
He made one good save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.
RB: Reece James – 7/10
James performed his defensive duties well and made two key chances going forward.
CB: Josh Acheampong – 6/10
Acheampong earned possession back once and was tidy on the ball. He was substituted after the hour mark.
CB: Benoit Badiashile – 7/10
He was a rock at the back and was replaced in the 54th minute.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 8/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 8/10
Caicedo caught the eye at times on both halves and managed to score the opener with a great strike in the 14th minute.
CM: Malo Gusto – 6.5/10
He managed to shine at times in the middle of the park and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
RW: Pedro Neto – 6.5/10
Neto made two good runs with the ball but never looked like he would score.
CAM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10
He worked his socks off in the opponent’s half and was unfortunate to hit the post in the second half.
LW: Alejandro Garnacho – 7/10
Garnacho used his pace well at times but failed to register a goal.
ST: Joao Pedro – 6/10
He was quiet for most of his time on the field.
Substitutes:
CM: Romeo Lavia – 6.5/10
He added some energy to Maresca’s midfield.
CB: Jorell Hato – 6.5/10
Hato kept things solid at the back.
ST: Marc Guiu – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
LW: Jamie Gittens – 6.5/10
He made one promising run with the ball.
Estevao was a constant threat on the right flank and managed to score the winner in injury time.
