14 out of the 16 teams qualified for the round of 16 of CAN 2025 are already known. There are still two spots up for grabs, and the final group standings still need to be determined for groups C, D, E, and F.

Algeria awaits the runner-up from group D, which will be one of Senegal, DR Congo, or Benin, while Mali, the second-placed team from group A, will take on the runner-up from group C—either Tunisia, Tanzania, or Uganda.

South Africa is waiting to face the second team from group F, which will be one of Cameroon, Ivory Coast, or Mozambique. The other qualified teams—Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria—are set to battle one of the best third-placed sides.
