Carlo Ancelotti staying at Real Madrid for next season ‘seems practically impossible’ | OneFootball

An update on the future of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Wednesday been forthcoming online.

And the news will no doubt be met with relief on the part of the growing contingent of Blancos supporters hopeful of their side’s headmaster being sent on his way this summer.

This comes amid confirmation that, barring a major turnaround, Ancelotti looks set to be sacked this summer.

Real Madrid are of course fresh off another evening to forget on Tuesday.

After making the trip to north London for a Champions League showdown with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Los Blancos were condemned to the wrong side of a 3-0 result.

Condemned to another damaging defeat at the hands of Valencia over the weekend, Real are now at serious risk of surrendering their status as holders of both La Liga, and the Champions League.

And as much, as alluded to above, looks set to prove altogether costly for boss Ancelotti.

As per a report from Relevo:

‘The continuity of any Real Madrid coach depends on the titles he wins at the end of the season, and that’s what the Italian is fighting for. But his continued presence at this point seems practically impossible.’
