Carlos Eduardo Patetuci calls up 23 players for the Copa Sul-Americana U17

The Brazilian Under-17 National Team was called up by coach Carlos Eduardo Patetuci on the morning of this Wednesday (11) for the 21st edition of the South American Under-17 Championship, which will be held in Paraguay from April 3 to 19. The presentation of the 23 called athletes is scheduled for March 18. Before traveling for the competition on April 1, the technical team will conduct two weeks of training at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis (RJ).

Brazil is coming off two consecutive titles in the competition: 2023 in Ecuador and 2025 in Colombia. Besides aiming for the trophy, the Brazilian National Team seeks a spot for the Under-17 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar. Seven South American teams will qualify for the World Cup, which since last year has featured 48 participants.

In Group B of the South American Under-17, Brazil will be joined by Venezuela, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru.
