Carrillo was rested from ball work on Tuesday for load management and is not expected to miss Corinthians’ trip to Chapecoense on Thursday.
According to Globo.com, the Peruvian has no injury and was kept out only to avoid muscular overload. He also skipped two ball sessions last week during the build-up to the derby at Vila Belmiro for the same reason.
He started the 1-1 draw with Santos on Sunday and was the only absence on the pitch as the squad reconvened at CT Joaquim Grava on Tuesday morning. While he worked indoors, the rest trained pressing after losing possession.
Coach Dorival Júnior also led small-sided attack versus defence drills in a reduced space.
The staff will assemble the starting XI and prepare for the seventh round fixture in Chapecó at Arena Condá.
Corinthians have seven points, sit eighth, and are winless in five this season. The squad are scheduled to return to work next Tuesday morning.
