Former Italy international Antonio Cassano believes that Marcus Rashford would be a ‘fantastic’ signing for Milan and Juventus but is convinced that no Serie A can afford the Manchester United striker.
Rashford would be an excellent fit for Milan and Juventus, but both Serie A clubs will struggle to match the player’s salary, says former Italy striker Cassano.
“We are talking about a fantastic player; I go crazy for him,” the ex-striker told Viva El Futbol via TMW.
“One and a half years ago, not three or five, he had finished the season with 28 goals playing as an attacking winger.

“But something has broken at Manchester United, first with Ten Hag and especially with Amorim. The problem is that he earns €12m per season. Who can afford him in Italy? Nobody can. He would be fantastic for Milan and Juventus, but I don’t think he can join our league.”
Both Juventus and Milan are interested in Rashford, and the Rossoneri already sent an opening offer to Manchester United.
Sky Sport Italia has claimed that Como are also interested in the Manchester United striker, but Fabrizio Romano has quoted sources close to the player denying negotiations with the Azzurri.
Rashford is not part of Ruben Amorim’s project at Manchester United and has recently revealed his desire to leave the club in January.
Rashford’s agent has been spotted in Italy to talk with interested clubs, but Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also following the 27-year-old.
