Castellón fans sell out 700 away tickets for Albacete trip in hours | OneFootball

CD Castellón supporters have snapped up their 700-ticket away allocation for Albacete ahead of Saturday 28 March, 21.00 at the Carlos Belmonte.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the allocation went in hours on Monday, underlining one of the club’s most anticipated away trips this season. The members’ portal showed the visitors’ end as sold out.

Despite a poor run, the albinegra support will travel in numbers for a match of major importance in the play-off race and to stay close to direct promotion to Primera División.

The club released details early so season-ticket holders could buy seats priced at 20 euros, and demand quickly surpassed expectations.

Within hours, the supporters’ federation had filled two coaches and was close to completing a third.

The biggest away following so far was at Andorra, and Albacete could surpass it if further tickets are made available. The journey is the closest, at 248 kilometres between Albacete and Castellón de la Plana.
