The Brazilian Football Confederation, CBF, has appointed Rafael Rodrigo Klein to referee Flamengo v Atlético-MG at Arena MRV on Sunday, a 13th-round Brasileirão fixture in 2026.
According to Coluna Do Fla, this will be his first Flamengo assignment in the 2026 league campaign, although he has already overseen them this year in the Supercopa.
In that Supercopa meeting with Corinthians, Carrascal struck Breno Bidon in the face as the first half ended. Klein applied no immediate sanction and sent the teams to the dressing room.
Before the restart in Brasília, VAR official Rodolpho Toski Marques advised a review. After the sides returned for the second half, Klein issued a straight red card to the Flamengo player.
The match will be televised on Premiere, pay-per-view, and SporTV.
