The federation confirmed that Corinthians’ second-round meeting with Fluminense in the Brazilian Women’s Championship will be staged at Neo Química Arena on Friday 20 February, kick-off 21:30.

The fixture initially lacked a venue because Fazendinha, in Parque São Jorge, is barred from hosting matches after 18:00 due to lighting problems.

Club president Osmar Stabile has said talks are under way with a partner company to fund the stadium’s lighting overhaul, which would allow night games to return. He estimated the works at around R$ 10 million, a significant outlay given a financial crisis that includes debt close to R$ 3 billion.

The Brabas boast an outstanding record at Neo Química Arena since the women’s team was relaunched in 2016, with 29 matches yielding 27 wins and two draws, a 95.4% return. They have scored 74 goals, an average of 2.55 per game, and conceded 16, 0.55 per match.

Also in 2025 at the stadium, Corinthians beat Cruzeiro 1-0 in the Brasileiro Feminino final, Thaís Ferreira scoring, to claim their seventh crown.

Their most recent outing there was on 4 December 2025, a 2-1 win over São Paulo courtesy of Duda Sampaio and Jaqueline, which secured a place in the Campeonato Paulista final. Palmeiras later won the title.

Before facing Fluminense, Lucas Piccinato’s side begin the 2026 campaign on Friday at 21:00 against Atlético Mineiro at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte.
