The international break is almost over, and everyone in Trigoria is wondering whether Matias Soulé will be ready to return to the field after more than four weeks of absence.

The Argentine, who was forced onto the pitch for the Maradona match against Napoli, had a recurrence of his pubalgia and was forced to withdraw from the Giallorossi’s final matches.

His condition, although improving, remains to be carefully evaluated. Last week, the former Juventus and Frosinone player returned to training with the group, but, as reported by Il Corriere della Sera, the pubalgia issue has not yet been completely overcome.

Gasperini is confident he can at least be included in the squad for the crucial Easter Sunday match against Inter.

As for Celik, his condition isn’t particularly worrying.

The Turk was not called up for Turkey’s match against Romania due to a sore right calf, which had limited him since the match against Como.

Since then, the former Lille player has been dealing with this issue, even missing the match against Lecce before the international break. However, the worst now seems to be behind him.

As reported by Il Messaggero, the player trained regularly with the group under Montella yesterday. Medical tests have ruled out any injuries, and the calf soreness is considered to be over.

Celik will therefore be available for the crucial match against Kosovo, which will decide who qualifies for the next World Cup.

After that match, he will return to Trigoria, ready to be named in Gian Piero Gasperini’s starting eleven for the match at San Siro, with the goal of emerging unscathed from the difficult trip.
