The Scotland international has been linked with a stunning move to the Welsh side
Wrexham's dream of reaching the Premier League for the first time in the club's history remains very much alive heading towards the final month of the season after a 2-0 success over Swansea City on Friday.
The Red Dragons' all-Welsh clash with the Swans was viewed as a 'must-win' if their intentions of remaining in the Championship play-off places were serious ahead of their nine remaining fixtures.
A 2-0 success guaranteed that Phil Parkinson's side remained sixth on 60 points, with the victory proving crucial as nearest challengers, Southampton, provided a turn up for the books less than 24 hours later by defeating league leaders, Coventry City, at the CBS Arena.
It has been well-documented that the North Wales club have seen their finances shoot through the roof as a result of the worldwide exposure at their disposal under the ownership of Hollywood A-listers, Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.
After achieving the record-breaking feat of three successive promotions straight from the National League and into the second tier, Wrexham broke their record spend on an individual player and for an entire window last summer, and were even linked with making further eye-watering moves throughout the recently-shut winter window.
However, reaching the promised land of the Premier League would almost certainly take the club's riches into a completely new stratosphere - one which would help attract proven top-level players who would boost Parkinson's squad in terms of ability and experience.
One name heavily linked with a move to the Stok Cae Ras on that particular front in recent weeks is Liverpool and Scotland international full-back, Andy Robertson.
The 32-year-old has continuously been the subject of transfer discourse of late, with his Anfield contract expiring on June 30th.
And, with Wrexham certainly in the mix to move for the defender, it has now been reported how he would feel about a return north of the border with SPFL giants, Celtic.

It has been reported by Football Insider that Robertson has emerged as a summer transfer target for the Glasgow side, and that the right offer could see the 90-time Tartan Army international lured to Parkhead.
He hasn't played in his native Scotland for 12 years now, having joined Hull City from Dundee United in the summer of 2014, before going on to enjoy a trophy-laden spell on Merseyside after a well-documented £8m move nine years ago.
It has been stated that whilst Robertson has also emerged as a target for Atlético Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur, that he has reservations over a potential switch to Celtic this summer.
The report also states that whilst a move for the experienced figure is tempting for the Bhoys, the club currently under the interim charge of Martin O'Neill for a second time this term are not believed to have left-back as a current priority.
At present, Kieran Tierney and Marcelo Saracchi are the senior options at O'Neill's disposal, albeit the latter is currently on loan from Boca Juniors.

There is no denying that Robertson would add plenty of value to Parkinson's side, and they could have been given a potential boost by the aforementioned report.
However, much like the links to his former Liverpool colleague, Harry Wilson, a transfer move for the Scot almost certainly hinges on whether Wrexham can create history between now and the end of the season.
Meanwhile, it has also been claimed that no progress has been made in contract talks between the Reds and the defender, who will leave on a free transfer unless anything changes in the coming weeks.
